How much will I get paid?

One question had bothered me quite a lot...

As a theoratical question: How can one decide how much people should get paid in different professions? What is the single most important element in the job profile?

This is assuming that pay in job market is not regulated, therefore it leaves all government jobs out of the consideration set.

Is it the demand supply?

Is it the hard-work that is required?

Is it the intelligence/IQ that is required?

Is it the utility of the profession to the community?

Is it the reputation of the profession?

Is it the breadth of work that you are to handle?

For me none of these qualities represent the answer. As a proud IIMB grad, I would have loved to say it depends!!! But that wouldn't me interesting!!!

My answer would be It is the uncertainity that you are required to handle in the Job!!!

Think bout it!!! I think it best correlates with the pay scale...

So, if you want to go up the ladder, stop running to your boss for every decision that you have to make... Learn to thrive in the chaos... One who makes the best decision in chaos is the one who will get paid the most!!!

Nothing but a story worth telling

Here is my answer to THE question: Why am I living?

For the religious, the answer is : "So that I can do good deeds and attain Moksha"

For the naive , the answer is: "So that I can change the world and make it a better place to live"

For the genius, the answer is: "So that I can change the world and make it a better place to live"

For the stupid, the answer is: "What is this stupid question"

For the intelligent, the answer is: "I have been thinking about this, but I really do not have an answer"

For the lazy, the answer is: "Newton's first law!!! Living is the default thing, dying takes effort"

For me, the answer is: "To create a life, which is a story worth telling!!!"

As always, this is untill I change my mind!!!
